Challenge

Internal employees from GSK will team up with students—specialized in UX/UI Design and software development—to create new ground-breaking technology to make tracking oral healthcare both easy and informative.

GSK is looking for everything from a tracker and information app, a platform for oral health information, hardware that uses sensors to level up your knowledge on what’s going on inside your mouth—get creative!


This is an event UX/UI and developer students can really get their teeth into!

FAQ's

Why should I join the hackathon?

Here are some benefits described by people who have participated in other internal hackathons:

Who can join?

  • Internal GSK employees

  • Students who are currently studying UX/UI design or software development

How are teams formed?

Teams can be formed either:

   • Ahead of time, if you are coming to the hackathon with people you know

   • On-site at the hackathon

What is the allowable team size?

Teams may have [2-6] members. No matter the number of teammates, make sure to cover all hats: development, design (UI/UX), business and pitch. One person can wear several hats!

What equipment will I need for the hackathon?

Bring your laptop, charger, and any other hardware you wish to use. 

Will I be compensated for my time?

If you are selected to take part in the event and are present on site to complete the hack, you will 

receive $350 after the event for your time.
